Mobile Bumper repair/refinishing

As I sit here, writing this, I am on the eve of expanding my business. The economy is tough, but I am in a fortunate situation:  I own a business that saves people a ton of money on vehicle repairs...vehicles people are hanging onto and not trading in right now. I am very lucky to have chosen this business to start as I must admit, I started it because I wanted to do this type of work.

Mobile bumper repair/refinishing is a semi-new type of service. Over the last 15 years or so, the automotive industry has changed a lot about how cars are painted, employing water-based paints to their applications. 90% or more of the bumpers on new vehicles are plastic (more or less). Less full sized trucks and some SUVs, every other bumper is plastic.

The improvement in the flexibility of the new paints, flexible body fillers like PolyFlex and flexibilizer additives, bumpers can be refinished to like-new condition. Nowadays, bumpers are required to be able to take a 15mph hit without major damage. A lot of times the bumper won't even crack/tear at that speed. This means it can be repaired and refinished to it's original factory condition.

Exciting times for me as I have been looking forward to adding this service since I started removing dents a few years ago.
